The Prospect Commission On Aging meeting was called to order by Jeannette Lampron, Chairperson.

A motion was made by Ruby DeCosta seconded by Richard Kuhn to approve the minutes of the regular meeting May 5, 2003. Vote Unanimous.
Director's Report: A motion was made by Miriam Caouette seconded by Joe Thompson to accept the Director's Report as read. Vote Unanimous. A motion was made by Joe Thompson, seconded by Albert Miele to accept the bus reports for March and April. Vote Unanimous.
Old Business: A list of Grants was given to Gina Ash, Grants Director. W. C. A. A. sent a transportation survey to Jeannette. A seminar will be held and Jeannette asked Mike to attend with her as representatives of the Prospect Commission On Aging. Jeannette, Mike and Lorraine will complete the survey. Jeannette had to resign from the W. C. A. A Jeannette will get a list of seminars. Once the list comes in she will call to ask members of the Commission to go to any they are interested in. Seniors should take advantage of services available to them.
New Business: Looking into Grants is a top priority. The Commission would like to look into a larger room for their meetings. The next meeting in October is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. rather than 10:00 a.m.
AARP Report: Annual Picnic at the America-Italian Civic Club on Boyden Ext. at 12 noon on July 8th. No Friday meetings in July or August. Arlene Hughes, President; Jean Corbett, Vice President; Jenny Hannon, Program Chairman; Ruby DeCosta, Treasurer; Hilda Dillon, Secretary. Membership is over 80.
Senior Club Report: Richard reported problems with the parking. A suggestion was made to talk to the Mayor.
Public Participation: Jean Reilly asked why more Prospect residents don't join AARP. Brief discussion followed regarding having more seniors involved.
A motion was made by Miriam Caouette, seconded by Albert Miele to adjourn the meeting at 10:24 a.m. Vote Unanimous.
