The Prospect Commission On Aging meeting was called to order at 10:00 am, by Jeannette Lampron, Chairperson.

Members Absent: Ruby DeCosta
Others Present: Lucy Smegielski, Bill Brown
A Motion was made by Mike Rutkowski, seconded by Miriam Caouette to approve the minutes of the regular meeting February 3, 2003. Vote Unanimous.
Director's Report: Ruby has been out sick. Toni's knee surgery is still pending. The Lion's Club is still interested in helping with a pool room in the basement. The Fire Marshal and the Building Inspector are ironing out the details for permits. Direct access is needed to outside, vents have to be raised etc. The Town budget for 2003-2004 goes into effect after June 30th and the pool room is in it along with the permission from the Fire Department for use of a strip of their land. Lucy will write a letter to the Fire Department to express our interest in using a strip of their land.
Old Business: Joe Thompson made a motion to change the C.O.A. meeting schedule to every other month starting February 2004, seconded by Mike Rutkowski. Vote Unanimous.
New Business: Lorraine Morris came in and reported the new Mini-Bus has been ordered. It has 16 seats with two being removed for wheelchair access, to have 14 seats if one is a wheelchair. The Mini-Bus can't be larger because it has to fit in the garage. Scheduled delivery is the middle of May 2003.
AARP Report: Prospect AARP Chapter 2845 will hold a meeting on March 7, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fire House with a guest speaker, Rodney Saltzberger, Investment Consultant. St. Patrick's Day luncheon is postponed to the April meeting.
Senior Club: Not enough parking if all over 470 members show up.
