Chairman Hiscox stated that Gil Graveline was recently recognized by CAZEO for twelve years of service as a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the Town of Prospect and presented G. Graveline a plaque on behalf of the Town of Prospect for his dedicated service.
Approval of Minutes: Motion by A. Havican, seconded by D. Pomeroy to approve the minutes of the April 7, 2004 meeting as presented. Unanimous.

1. Memo #041904 from Council of Governments of the Central Naugatuck Valley re: Proposed Amendment to the
Regional Plan of Conservation and Development.
2. Memo #050604 from Council of Governments of the Central Naugatuck Valley re: Change in Developed Land
in the CNRV from 1985 to 2002.
3. Connecticut Federation of Planning and Zoning Agencies Quarterly - Spring 2004.
Motion by T. Galvin, seconded by A. Havican to accept the correspondence. Motion by T. Galvin seconded by G. Graveline to approve payment to HMA. Unanimous The Commissioners directed Bill Donovan to look into the issues raised in the correspondence from Sandra Mencio regarding the Royal Crest Drive and Summit Road intersection.

Old Business: Public Hearings on the Plan of Conservation & Development - Amendment No. 1 Revisions to Zoning Regulations and Zoning District Map and Revision to Subdivision Regulations are continued to May 26, 2004 at 7:00 p.m.
New Businness a. Thomas Battiste, 38 Industrial Road, Site Plan Admendment - Additional Storage Building. Thomas Battiste stated his desire to put an additonal 2,400 square foot storage building for commercial vehicles at his storage facility located at 38 Industrial Road. The Commissioners reviewed a proposed site plan with Mr. Battiste. Mr. Battiste will be placed on the June 2, 2004 meeting agenda for submission of a sie plan application with Chesprocott approval.
Land Use Inspector's Report: Bill Donovan disributed a proposed ordinance authorizing the Planning and Zoning Commission to act as the Aquifer Protection for the Town of Prospect in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes. The proposed ordinance will be submitted to the Town Council at their next regular meeting. Bill presented a letter dated May 5, 2004 from Scott Poryanda, engineer for the Shannon Manor subdivision on Straitsville Road, requesting a second 90 day extension for the filing of the Mylar map. Bill stated that if this extention is granted, the Mylar map must be filed by August 17, 2004 or the subdivison approval will be null and void. Motion by T. Galvin, seconded by A. Havican to grant an additional 90-day extension for the filing of the Mylar map on Shannon Manor Subdivison, Straitsville Road. Unanimous. Bill reviewed an updated Zoning Violation Log with the Commissioners. Bill stated that Town's web page now has a link to allow access to the proposed amendment to the Plan of Conservation and Development and the proposed revisions to the zoning regulations, zoning district map and subdivision regulations.Copies are available for sale in the Town Hall. Motion by T. Galvin, seconded by A. Havican to accept the Land Use Inspector's Report. Unanimous
