APPROVED MINUTES
February 27,2007

Chairman Martin Atkins called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.

Other Members Present: Carl Graveline, Marianne Byrne

Members Absent: Jeff Slapikas, Matthew Blinstrubas, George Havican (alt), Lori Da Silva (alt)

Also Present: William Donovan, Clerk/Land Use Inspector

Correspondence: a. Announcement from Council of Governments for up-coming Land Use Forum on Improving Land Use Commission Decision-Making, scheduled for April 30.

Approval of Minutes: Motion by C. Graveline, seconded by A. Atkins to approve the minutes of the January 22, 2007 meeting. Two votes hi favor with one abstention. Motion to approve carries. Motion by C. Graveline, seconded by M. Byrne to approve the Special Meeting held on January 30, 2007. Unanimous.

Clerical Bill: Motion by C. Graveline, seconded by M. Byrne to pay the clerical bill. Unanimous.

New Business:
a. George Nagy, 25 Lombard Drive. Application for a 4-foot variance to place a 14' x 22' detached shed 16 feet from the right side line. Mr. Nagy stated the proposed detached building would be further from the side line than the existing house. Location of the septic system and steep topography limit where the building can be placed. Motion by C. Graveline, seconded by M. Byrne to accept Application 02-2007 of George Nagy as presented. Unanimous. A public hearing was scheduled for Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 7:10 p.m.
