APPROVED MINUTES
June 26, 2007

Chairman Martin Atkins called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.

Other Members Present: Carl Graveline, Marianne Byrne

Members Absent: Jeff Slapikas, George Havican (alt), Lori DaSilva (alt)

Also Present: William Donovan, Clerk/Land Use Inspector

Correspondence: None

Clerical Bill: Motion by M. Byrne, seconded by G. Havican to pay the clerical bill. Unanimous.

Approval of Minutes: Motion by C. Graveline seconded by M. Atkins to approve the minutes of the May 22, 3007 meeting with amendments. Two votes in favor with one abstention. Motion to approve carries.

New Business:
a. Michael J. Gerrity, 87 Union City Road. Application for a front and side line variance for an attached garage. Mr. Gerrity stated he is seeking to add an attached 24' x 34' garage addition to his home. He stated the lot is approximately 1/2 acre in size and has 100 feet of frontage. The proposed addition would be 5 feet from the left side line and 35 feet to the front property line. The addition would not be closer to the road than the existing house. The height of the addition would match the height of the house. M. Byrne stated to the applicant that the board will need a detailed drawing of the building for the public hearing showing its location on the property and relation to the existing house. Motion by M. Byrne seconded by C. Graveline to accept Application 05-2007 of Michael Gerrity for a 20 foot side line variance and a 15 foot front property line variance for an attached garage addition. Unanimous. A public hearing was scheduled for Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at 7:10 p.m.
