Chairman Martin Atkins called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.

Members Absent: Maryanne Byrne, Dave Michaud, Lori DaSilva (alt), George Havican (alt)

Chairman Atkins seated C. Witkowski for D. Michaud.

Correspondence: None

Clerical Bill: Motion by J. Slapkis, seconded by C. Witkowski to pay the clerical bill. Unanimous

Old Business: None

Public Hearing: Chairman Atkins stated that because there are not the requested four board members present to vote on the scheduled public hearing application, (a. 7:10 p.m. Application 06-2009 of Elizabeth Snaidecki, 25 Colonial Drive for a 14-foot rear setback varance for a detached garage building and b. 7:20 p.m. Prosposed amendment of the Zoning Board of Appeals fee schedule to increase the fee for an application from the current $75,000 to $200,00) that these public hearings will be placed on the next scheduled meeting of August 25, 2009 at the same times.

Chairman Atkins also announced that this would be his last meeting on the board as he has relocated from Prospect to a neighboring town. He thanked the board and Bill Donovan for their support during his tenure as Chairman. C. Witkowski expressed his gratitude to Chairman Atkins for his many years of service as a board member and Chairman.
