The third-grade boys' basketball would like to partake in a basketball tournament and is looking to schedule another. After discussion the Board agreed that if the coach would like to have the boys participate in a tournament they would have to raise the money themselves. The Board will not be liable for paying tournament fees. Presently there is no third grade travel basketball program. Also, trophies are not to be given out to the third-grade basketball players. The Board instructed C. Moffo to contact coaches to inform them that they do not have the authority to sign-up to be in a tournament and then submit the bill to the Board to be reimbursed.

    C. Moffo stated that Larry Menta would like to host a boys' travel basketball tournament the first week of March and Lisa Heerdt would like to host a girls' basketball tournament as well. Each will consist of one weekend. Each team that participates will pay an entrance fee to cover the cost of janitors and referees. The Board asked C. Moffo to notify L. Menta and L. Heerdt to inform them that they can host a tournament as long as all expenses are covered and the gym is available.

    C. Moffo discussed the availability of bus trip tickets to a Red Sox Game. The Board would like C. Moffo to get tickets for the June 5, 2005 games and look into the availability of tickets for a New York Yankees and New York Mets games as well.

    T. Patavino contacted C. Moffo and indicated he would like to run another foam floor hockey program. C. Moffo will look into the availability of space. Providing space is available there will be a second session of foam floor hockey.

    C. Moffo will contact Shannon Cortello to begin the Mommy and Me Tot program for Prospect residents.

    C. Moffo will contact Tom DelRosso to give him the okay to run the golf clinic program.
