The Board of Recreation meeting was called to order by Mary Welch, at 7:00p.m.
Board Members Present: Karen Southard, Mike Palmerie Jr., Mary Welch, Bill Sereduck, and Larry Fitzgerald
Board Members Absent: Mary Witham
Also Present: Christopher Moffo, Director of Parks and Recreation
Guests/Public Participation: Mary Beth Knobel and Gail Yacavone were present and discussed the corporate letter for the playground to raise funds. They also discussed the future fund raisers which included October 13th Ziti Diner and the Selling of Pavers. The Pavers would be used to create a walk way going to the park. Those who purchase the pavers will have the option of having something engraved on them.
Motion made by W. Sereduck, seconded by M. Palmerie. to go into executive session to review the bids. Unanimous 7:45 p.m.
Motion made by L. Fitzgerald, seconded by K. Southard to close executive session Unanimous 8:30 p.m.
Motion made by W. Sereduck seconded by K. Southard to table playground bid decision until further investigation and discussion with Canfield Playground Committee. Unanimous
Amend motion to state: Bid to be awarded at next Board of Recreation meeting. Unanimous
Motion made by M. Palmerie, seconded by W. Sereduck to adjourn. Unanimous
