The Board of Recreation meeting was called to order by Larry Fitzgerlad and seconded by Mary Gluck at 7:08p.m.

• No correspondence received.
• C. Moffo reviewed bills received.
• C. Moffo amended the bills received in the program director’s report. The bill received from NJL reads $61,251 for the baseball field however should read $56,800
• Mike Palmerie, Jr. made a motion to accept the Program Director’s Report as amended and Mary Gluck seconded the motion. Motion unanimous. The Program Director’s Report was accepted as amended.
• Mike Palmerie Jr. made a motion to approve payment of the bills received and Dean Accetura seconded the motion. Motion unanimous. Payment of the bills was approved.
• C. Moffo reviewed the bills paid.
Program Director’s Report:
• The Board of Recreation members reviewed the Program Director’s Report.
• The Board of Recreation reviewed the proposal from Michael Scarmozzino to offer a martial arts program.
• The Board of Recreation reviewed the proposals from Kelley Baccash to hold ballroom dance classes as well as a musical theater workshop.
• C. Moffo informed the Board of Recreation that the LED panels and wiring was replaced at the Canfield Park scoreboard however problems continue to occur with the functioning of the scoreboard.
• The Board of Recreation discussed cleanup and maintenance of the skate park. C. Moffo informed the Board of Recreation that graffiti was recently cleaned off of the ramps at the skate park. The Board of Recreation also inquired about routine safety checks at the skate park.
• The Board of Recreation discussed running power down to the baseball field at Hotchkiss Park. C. Moffo informed the Board of Recreation that the cost would be $7,182.35.
Approval of Minutes:

Old Business:
• The Board of Recreation discussed the progress of the dog park.
• The Board of Recreation discussed the progress of the water misting system at Hotchkiss Park. C. Moffo will look into this matter.
New Business:
• The Board of Recreation and Dean Accetura discussed the Slamma Jamma basketball camp. Dean informed that Board of Recreation that he currently pays a fee for use of the location through Region 16 and therefore the program can not be held though the Board of Recreation. D. Accetura informed the Board of Recreation that he would like to not hold the program through the state and that he would like to hold the program through the Board of Recreation. The Board of Recreation discussed this issue. The Board of Recreation will re-visit this matter in the future.
• The Board of Recreation reviewed the proposal from Michael Scarmozzino to offer a martial arts program. The Board of Recreation agreed to move forward with this proposal.
• The Board of Recreation reviewed the proposals from Kelley Baccash to hold ballroom dance classes as well as a musical theater workshop. The Board of Recreation agreed that Kelly could not charge for tickets to performances. The Board of Recreation agreed to move forward with these proposals.
