ARTS & CRAFTS CLASSES

An Arts and Crafts class will be starting on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 10 am for children ages 3 to 5 years of age.

Incorporate the seasons, holidays, pets and family into our weekly creations with a strong emphasis on multicultural learning, through music, books and pictures that they will be proud to show off.

This class will be held at the Meeting Place for 8 weeks. The cost is $45 per child and the cost of the class covers all the supplies.

An introduction to Scrapbooking for children ages 9 years and older will be starting on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 10 am.

Bring in photos and we can work together to start your first scrapbook. There are different style scissors, punches and tools to incorporate glitter, ribbons, brads and more for a full texture book that will keep your scrapping for year and decades to come. A true American folk art that you can pass down to your future generations, and they are more fun to go through (with more details and information) then most regular family albums!

This class will be held at the Chapel Hall building for 8 weeks. The cost is $45 and covers MOST of the supplies. Participants will need to bring photos, album and scrapbook paper from home.

PLEASE NOTE: All registrations and payments must be made to the Prospect Board of Recreation. To register, contact Chris Moffo at Town Hall at 203-758-4461.
