Nature Trail accepted by Boy Scouts and now waiting for good weather to get started.
Old Business: Eagle for the library shelf. Sheri Cocchiola has a man that will do the eagle for $100. A motion by Gary Baldowski and seconded by Sheri Cocchiola has a man that will do the eagle. Jean has the new books for the shelf from the Prospect Grange.
New Business: the proposed Car Wash for which the meeting of the Inland Wetlands are discussing right downstairs. A discussion and a motion by Sheri Cocchiola and seconded by Gary Baldowski that the Prospect Conservation Commission attend the meeting and let our concerns known to the Inland Wetland Commission. We are concerned about the possible run-off, air, noise pollution and the extra traffic in an already busy area. This car wash is uphill from the Waterbury Reservoir. Possible run-off of oils, salts, gasoline and exhaust pollution could damage the wildlife and plants adjacent to this location on Waterbury Road.
Meeting adjourned at 7:42 P.M. to attend the end of the Inland Wetlands meeting. The next Inland Wetlands meeting will again be on our meeting date. We will have another short meeting and attend their meeting.
