The Prospect Public Library Board meeing was called to order by Chairperson Susan H. McKernan at 7:08 p.m.
Members Present: Linda Gordon, Judy Kennelly, Suzanne Loud, Susan H. McKernan, Thomas Marczewski (left 8:00 p.m.), Carole Moschella and Shirley Sabo.

Approval of Previous Minutes:
General discussion. Motion made by T. Marczewski to accept the minutes of April 8, 2004 meeting as presented, 2nd by L. Gordon. Motion Unanimous.
Treasurer's Report:
Spread Sheet prepared by B. Peterson and S. Loud. General discussion of account activities. B. Peterson will prepare report until the summer. Motion made by T. Marczewski to accept the Treasurer's Report, 2nd by S. Sabo. Motion Unanimous.
Librarian's Report
B. Peterson reports that Barbara Smith attended "The Friends of the Library" event held on May 11th featuring John Guevin, Joe Gomez and Doug Merriman speaking on the history of Prospect. The event was a success and very informative.
Approval of Bills: General Discussion. Motion made by T. Marczewski to pay the bills as presented, 2nd by L. Gordon. Motion Unanimous.
Chairman's Report: The Board would like to commend Mrs. Peterson for the wonderful job on the Library sleep-over. Feedback has been extremely positive. A special thank you, also, to Sue Loud for her assistance in the great new event.
Old Business: Technology Report - B. Peterson detailed work done by Mike from Star Computers. Mike fixed the hard drive on the public internet access computer last month because it had become corrupted and severly fragmented. General discussion to add three more computers with Internet and world processing in the little board room. Also, to install Internet on the present word processing computer to total four (4) computers with both capabilities and one with Internet access only.
Museum Passes: General discussion on funding museum passes in Connecticut. Motion made by L. Gordon to obtain the passes from the Mark Twain House and the New Britain Museum of American Art, 2nd by C. Moschella. Motion Unanimous.
Discussion: Close library on Saturnday, September 18, 2004 for Renaissance Faire. Motion made by J. Kennelly to close library during Renaissance Faire on September 16, 2004, 2nd by S. Loud. Motion Unanamious.
Executive Session: Motion made by S. Sabo to enter into executive session, 2nd by S. Loud. Motion Unanimous and executive session was entered at 8:45 p.m.
During the executive session no motions were made. Came out of executive session at 9:37 p.m.
Motion made by J. Kennelly to adjourn at 9:37 p.m., 2nd by L. Gordon. Motion Unanimous.
