Welcome to the Official Town of Prospect Web Page. Prospect was established in 1827 and is surrounded by Bethany, Waterbury, Cheshire, and Naugatuck. The town is 5 miles long and 4 miles wide with a population of approximately 9,210 as of the year 2007. Our town and its residents are proud to call ourselves "The Best Small Town in Connecticut".

UPDATE ON SWINE INFLUENZA

The Town of Prospect will be implementing a Code Red Emergency Notificaiton System. CLICK HERE, to add your information to the Resource Data Upload Page and stay current with TRUE town emergencies. PLEASE NOTE: Cookies on your computer MUST BE ENABLED in order to submit your information! Download instructions to Enable the Cookies on your computer.
