Welcome to the Official Town of Prospect Web Page. Prospect was established in 1827 and is surrounded by Bethany, Waterbury, Cheshire, and Naugatuck. The town is 5 miles long and 4 miles wide with a population of approximately 9,300 as of the year 2008. Our town and its residents are proud to call ourselves "The Best Small Town in Connecticut".

ADOPTED TOWN BUDGET FOR 2011 - 2012


The Yankee Gas Pipeline Project will begin construction through Prospect beginning on Monday, April 11, 2011 and will continue through the month of September. For further information on the project, visit Yankee Gas's website. Click on the logo to view the site.
