Prospect Senior Center

The Prospect Senior Center along with the Prospect Public Library will be welcoming Ann Nyberg, from WTNH to the Prospect Senior Center on October 29, 2015.

Ann Nyberg is WTNH-TV's longest serving Anchor/Reporter in the station's history. Ann anchors the 6PM and 10PM nighly newscasts. She has interviewed leading news makers and entertaininers such as Peter Jennings, Julie Andrews, Michael Bolton and Barbara Walters.

She has been a visionary in the industry. She started Network Connecticut in 2011 as a means of connecting the state on multiple levels. She is also the founder of the Toy Closet Program at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Now, she can also add author to her resume.

In her debut book, "Slices of Life", which will go on sale to the public in October of this year, Ann pulls pages from her diary to share with readers. She reflects on her childhood, life lessons and the importance of living each day to the fullest. Her book has received wonderful advance reviews.

Ann will be at the Prospect Senior Center for a discussion about her book and a book signing to follow. Copies of her book will be on sale that day for $16.95.
