The Prospect Summer Activities Program located at Long River Middle School is designed to give kids fun and enrichment activities during the summer. A pizza and ice cream party will be held at the end of each session, parents and guardians are welcome to attend. Special activities are planned for each session and for the safety of our children there will be an EMT or an MRT on the premises at all times.
Children may pick from a variety of classes and will attend those classes each day. Snack will be provided and will be given around 10:30 AM. There will be five classes daily for a two week period. Children are placed in groups according to their entering grade. Children must be entering grades Kindergarten through 8th grade in the upcoming September school year.
Prospect residents can bring grandchildren if space allows, but an additional fee will be required. Call Town Hall for more details. (758-4461)
Grades K-3rd will be offered fun hands on activities.
Grades 4th & 8th will be offered competitive classes that will be both stimulating and fun. For example:
• Outdoor Activities will have tournaments in soccer, softball, basketball and volleyball.
• Science for Fun will offer experiments to "get you thinking."
• Fun with Math will be applied while building a paper airplane or having an egg drop contest!

A discount program fee of $35.00 per week will be applied to those students in the CIT program.
