Notice is hereby given to those persons eligible to vote in Town Meetings of the Town of Prospect that there will be a Special Town Meeting held on September 7, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Prospect Fire House, 26 New Haven Road, Prospect, CT 06712 for the following purpose:
To consider and act upon a proposal for the lease/purchase of a Pierce Arrow XT Custom Pumper Truck pursuant to a Master Lease - Purchase Agreement by and between the Town and Oshkosh Capital, for a lease term of up to eight (8) years and for a price of $537,840.00 plus approximately $80,000.00 of financing charges included in the lease payments, with a purchase option at the end of the tern for $1.00.
