The Regular Town Council meeting was called to order at 7:03 P.M. by Chair Cynthia L. Gibbons. Members present: Robert Doyon, Patricia Geary, Cynthia Gibbons, Thomas Hallaway, Domenic Jannetty, Douglas Merriman, Dominick Mirabelle. Absent: Theresa Graveline and Edward Miller

CHAIR REPORT: Nothing to report at this time.
Motion made by P. Geary, 2nd by R. Doyon to approve minutes of August 20th with adjournment to continue to August 27th meeting. Motion Unanimous

Subcommittee Reports:
Ordinance subcommittee met prior to regular council meeting working on Land Use Ordinance will be making a recommendation to council. Park Ordinance working on, language needs to be drafted also researching underage drinking ordinance. Tentative Ordinance Subcommittee meeting Sept. 10th @ 6 P.M., Chair to notify members.
D. Jannetty suggested that Chair appoint a "Personnel Subcommittee". D. Jannetty, D. Merriman and R. Doyon volunteered to be on the committee. Mayor Chatfield is obtaining information from a survey he previously sent out.
P. Geary brought up the issue of the 53rd week of pay, auditor still needs to explain.
