The meeting was called to order by Joseph Commendatore, Chair at 3:30 p.m.
Members Present: Robert Doyon, Patricia Geary, Theresa Graveline, Douglas Merriman, Dominick Mirabelle, Dominic Moschella and Joseph Commendatore.
Members Absent: Frederick Harkins and Roger Kergaravat.
Mayor Chatfield submitted an updated revenue sheet. He referred the Council to page two and three. He stated there is still no State Budget. These figures will not be confirmed until after the 19th of June. The Mayor discussed the total on page five and the last page has the mathematical equation for the Mill Rate. Based on present State Revenues the Mayor is recommending the Mill Rate be 24.50 which is an increase of .52. The Mayor recommended that the Mill Rate be tabled to a later meeting.
Motion made by D. Merriman to table the Mill Rate. Motion seconded by D. Mirabelle.
Motion unanimous.
Motion made by D. Merriman to set a Special Meeting on Wednesday, June 13th, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. Motion seconded by P. Geary.
Motion unanimous.
Mayor Chatfield discussed the year end transfers and submitted a list of transfers effective May 31, 2007. The total amount the Mayor is requesting to transfer is $44,335.00.
Motion made by P. Geary to approve the year end transfers in the amount of $44,335.00. Motion seconded by D. Merriman.
T. Graveline asked for clarification. P. Geary asked why $7,500.00 is being transferred into the Officers – Police account. The Mayor briefly discussed the reasoning for the transfer.
