Special Meeting - Public Hearing

April 7, 2009

The Town of Prospect Public Hearing was called to order by Town Council Chairman Thomas J. Galvin at 7:00 P.M. The meeting was taped.

T. Galvin read the Notice of Public Hearing into the record.

"Notice is hereby given to Electors of the Town of Prospect that a Public Hearing will be held on the 2009-2010 proposed Town Government budget on April 7, 2009 at 7 P.M. at the Prospect Town Hall."

Mayor Robert J. Chatfield reviewed the budget for Fiscal year 2009-2010.

Mayor Robert J. Chatfield advised there is a wage freeze in place for all Town Hall employees. Mayor Chatfield also advised for the past 6 years there has been a wage freeze for all elected officials.

Mayor Chatfield advised he spoke with Bill Sereduck and the Fire Chief and will consult with Town Council to consider restoring some money into this line item.

T. Galvin advised the Town Meeting will be on April 22, 2009 at Community School @ 7:00 P.M.
