Prospect Town Council

June 1, 2010

Chairman Thomas Galvin called the meeting to order @ 7:00 p.m. The meeting was held at Town Hall in the lower level conference room. The meeting was taped.

Members Present: T. Galvin, S. Pilat, D. Merriman, M. Scaviola, R. Doyon, J. Slapikas, P. Geary, C. Graveline and T. Graveline.

Members Absent: None

Mayor's Report:
T. Galvin requested a motion to adopt the Resolution for the Reconstruction of Scoit Road, Phase 2, dated June 1, 2010. Motion made by C. Graveline to adopt the Resolution "entitled:" Reconstruction of Scott Road, Phase 2, dated June 1, 2010. Motion seconded by J. Slapikas. Discussion T. Graveline requested to amend the Resolution with corrections. Motion made by C. Graveline to adopt the Resolution 'entitled:' Reconstruction of Scott Road, Phase 2 as amended. Motion seconded by J. Slapikas. Unanimous.

T. Galvin requested a motion to approve the Transfer from the Police Overtime Account to the Police Officers Account #6700 in the amount of $19,767.09. Motion made by P. Geary to approve the Transfer from the Police Overtime Account to the Police Officers' Account #6700 in the amount of $19,767.09. Motion seconded by S. Pilat. Discussion. Unanimous.

T. Galvin requested, on behalf of Mayor Robert J. Chatfield, a motion to recess the meeting until the following evening on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 @ 6.00 P.M. in Mayor Chatfield's office, to discuss the Revenue sheets and set the Mil rate.

Motion made by T. Graveline to waive the Tax Bills under $2.00. Motion seconded by R. Doyon. Unanimous

Sub-committees Reports: T. Graveline rquested an "Executive Session" for a report from the Land Use Sub-Committee to bring the Council up to date on Real Estate matters. Motion made by T. Graveline to add to the Agenda and to convene to an "Executive Session" for a report from the Land Use Sub-Committee to bring the Council up to date on Real Estate matters. Motion seconded by R. Doyon. Unanimous The meeting convened @ 7:13 P.M. to an "Executive Session."

The regular meeting reconvened from "Executive Session" @ 7:50 P.M. No votes taken or motions made.

Adjournment: Motion made by T. Graveline to Recess until 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 2 in Mayor Robert J. Chatfield's Office to set the Mil Rate. Motion seconded by D. Merriman. Unanimous Meeting Recessed @8:07 P.M.
