Vice-Chairman S, Pilat called the meeting to order @ 3:04 P.M. The meeting was held at Town Hall in Mayor Robert J. Chatfield's Office.
Members Present: P. Geary, S. Pilat, D. Merriman, R. Doyon J. Slapikas, C. Graveline, and T. Graveline @ 3:07 P.M.
Members Absent: T. Galvin and M. Scaviola
Mayor's Report:
Mayor Robert J. Chatfield requested approval from the Council to adopt the Resolution for the contract of the Town of Prospect and the Department of Environmental Protection for the final phase of the Cambridge Road Area Project. The original amount received for this project was $365,000.00. To date, $81,000.00 remains and the matching funds received from the Federal Government were in the amount of $132,000.00 to finish the project. Motion made by D. Merriman to adopt the Resolution for the contract of the Town of Prospect and the Department of Environmental Protection for the final phase of the Cambridge Road Area Project and to add Stanley J. Pilat's name to the Resolution. Motion seconded by T. Graveline. Unanimous.
Mayor Chatfield showed Council members pictures of the new Tri-axle Dump Truck for the Public Works Department. Mayor Chatfield also gave each Council member Specs to be reviewed for a new 1-1250 GPM Custom Pumper Truck for the Prospect Volunteer Fire Department.
