All permission slips for dances and movie nights are to be handed in at school along with any fees prior to the date of the event. We will no longer accept anything at the door for these events.
Every child who attends Prospect Youth Service should have a registration form on file. If you have not already filled one out for your child, please do so and send it to the Prospect Town Hall, Prospect Youth Services, 36 Center Street, Prospect, CT 06712.

The Prospect Youth Service would like to send out our final thanks to all the community businesses that made monetary donations towards the purchase of an outdoor message board; we hit our goal! The Town of Prospect supplemented the final installment that was needed in order to place the order. Thanks Mayor Bob! Watch for the sign very soon on the Grange building to display all our events.
The PYS is looking to expand our movie selection for both Movie Nights and Games at the Grange. We use both VHS and DVD. If anyone is weeding out their movie collection, please let us know because we can always use more.
We are adding two new segments to PYS' repertoire. First, we will be offering a Movie Night for just the girls at Community School and then, just the boys at Community School to give opportunity for socialization in a safe environment. We are also arranging to have community speakers join us here at the Grange to discuss such topics as under age drinking and substance abuse as well as student leadership and mentoring. These discussions will be scheduled soon, so please watch for the flyers!
